One of the oldest cities in the world, and the capital city of the province of Eden. It is the home to the Senate, the controlling political body the Free Province of Eden. It sits on top of the ruins of an even older city, and many relics and secrets are thought to be buried below.
The city and the province are considered a great prize by the much larger neighboring political entities, but the people of Eden have fought off invasions many times. The Legions of Eden are primarily a defense force, but their effectiveness in the field has made more than a few politicians desire to use them as a force of conquest.
Several religious institutions vie for primacy in the city, but the law recognizes none above the others. Some cults are satisfied with that status quo, but some harbor ambitions of political as well as spiritual dominance.
